Computers for Learning

Transfer excess computers and related peripheral equipment directly to schools and some educational nonprofit organizations.

Federal Asset Sales

Create a secure, efficient, and effective online e-marketplace that will serve as a single point for the public to find and buy federal assets.

Area Property Officers

Utilization, donation, and sales processes are conducted by the Personal Property Management Offices in conjunction with Area Property Officers (APOs). The APOs are GSA field representatives who screen and inspect excess property within their assigned geographic area.

Personal Property Center

The GSA Personal Property Center (PPC) is an excellent alternative for federal agencies facing property disposal dilemmas. The PPC, located just outside Washington, DC, in Springfield, Virginia, primarily serves the greater Washington area, including eastern Maryland and Virginia, but is open to the entire East Coast. In effect, the PPC acts as a repository for deliveries of unneeded property from federal agencies looking for smart disposal solutions.
