E-Gov Travel Policy
Prior to November 1, 2005, E-Gov Travel was doing business under the name of eTravel.
On December 22, 2003, the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) amendment 2003-07, FTR Case 2003-303, E-Gov Travel Service, was published in the Federal Register. This rule, requires agencies to begin implementing the E-Gov Travel Service no later than December 31, 2004, and to complete full agency-wide use of the E-Gov Travel Service by September 2006.

eTravel Bulletin (June 18, 2002) This bulletin notified federal agencies of the creation of the eTravel Initiative, a governmentwide, web based, end-to-end travel management system. It is the intent of the General Services Administration to require agency use of the system.

FTR amendment 2003-07, FTR Case 2003-303 (December 22, 2003) Requires agency-wide use of the eTravel Service now known as E-Gov Travel by September 2006.
