WITS 3
Washington Interagency Telecommunications Services (WITS) has introduced the new WITS 3 contract vehicle that includes a full suite of voice solutions, from basic local and long distance service to VoIP, cable installation, satellite, teleconferencing and audiovisual services, technical support and much more.
The WITS 3 site is designed to help customers choose from a variety of telecom services available to all the federal agencies in the National Capital Region (NCR). The WITS 3 contract offers agencies a better value with volume discount pricing due to its 831,000 federal customers. Find out more about pricing and ordering information.
It is important to act now because the WITS 3 contract is replacing the expired contract of WITS 2001. Whether you are a new client or a WITS 2001 customer you must fill out an application. Agencies have until January 23, 2010 to find another contract vehicle for their telecommunications needs. The WITS 3 contract number for Level (3) Communications is GS11T08BJD6002 and the WITS 3 contract number for Verizon Federal is GS11T08BJD6001.For more information about the WITS2001 transition schedule, please visit the Verizon website link available at the lower right of this page.
To begin the contracting process, review the downloadable WITS 3 Application Form. Designated Agency Representatives (DARs) and Designated Agency Representative Administrators (DARAs) must follow Fair Opportunity Guidelines before placing a service order greater than $3,000. Visit WITS 3 Guides, Tools and Resources to ensure that all contractors receive fair consideration.
WITS 3 does not include wireless services. Visit GSA’s Wireless Store for your wireless requirements.
Please contact the appropriate WITS Customer Service Team member for help in finding your agency’s telecommunications solution at the best price.
