Comprehensive Human Resources Integrated System (CHRIS)

Existing Users:  Logon to CHRIS

The Comprehensive Human Resources Integrated System (CHRIS) is the automated tool used by Human Resource (HR) professionals in GSA, and its client agencies to document your employment (i.e., changes in your salary, position or benefits), which in turn creates a comprehensive employment history.

CHRIS Personal View, which is described in more detail below, provides GSA and its client agency employees with the ability to access their own personnel records right from their desktop.  Information on how to log on to CHRIS, user guides and instructional tutorials on a variety of topics (CHRIS HELP), as well as CHRIS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), are provided to help employees become familiar with CHRIS.

NOTE:  Before using the "New User Registration/Reset Password " functionality to generate your CHRIS "Username", and create and/or change your CHRIS "Password", you will need your Employee Express (EEX) Password.  If you don't know your EEX Password, please go to the CHRIS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) web page for information on obtaining your EEX Password.

Hours of Operation:

5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (System availability may be impacted by scheduled maintenance)

CHRIS Personal Self Service

CHRIS Personal View is the first in a line of new “Self Service” functionality, for GSA and its client agency employees, within CHRIS.

CHRIS Personal View is designed to provide you with secure and easy web-based, online, “real time” access to your own personal electronic employment information.

Information in CHRIS Personal View is organized into “electronic file folders.”

  • Personal Information
  • Assignment Information
  • Pay and Benefits Information
  • Leave Information
  • Performance Information
  • Awards and Bonus Information
  • Personnel Actions processed in CHRIS
  • Training History

If your agency is using the CHRIS Mailer functionality, you will be notified by email when a personnel action has been processed within CHRIS and you can print a copy of that Notification of Personnel Action (SF50), or any other Notification of Personnel Action (SF50), at your convenience from within CHRIS Personal View.  For those users whose agency is not taking advantage of the CHRIS Mailer functionality, you still have access to your Notification of Personnel Actions (SF50) for viewing and printing through the "Personnel Actions" folder in your personal view.

If your agency is using the CHRIS Associate Performance Plan and Appraisal System (APPAS) module, you can access, view and/or print your current performance plan, as well as your last three (3) historical performance plans and corresponding appraisals from within CHRIS Personal View.  For those users whose agency is not taking advantage of the CHRIS Performance Plan and Appraisal System (APPAS) module, you may still view your current and historical Overall Rating data through the "Performance" folder in your personal view.

We encourage you to go online and look at your information today.
