This course outlines and explains Federal Travel Regulation  (FTR) guidelines for relocation allowances given to eligible civilian employees when they are making a permanent change of duty station. Civilian employees are encouraged to take this training biannually or annually so  that they have up-to-date information on federal travel allowances.

The course will cover:

  • Travel Authorizations, Advances, and Vouchers
  • Service Agreements
  • House Hunting and En Route Travel
  • Temporary Quarters
  • Shipment of Household Goods/Automobiles
  • Property Management
  • Real Estate Expenses
  • Miscellaneous Expenses, and
  • Last Move Home

travel specialists, support staff, infrequent travelers, and affected authorizing, supervising, and policy officials.
