Alliant Ordering Guide

The Alliant Ordering Guide provides the procedures for ordering Information Technology services- based solutions under the Alliant Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). It defines the roles and responsibilities of the major parties involved in the ordering process, and it provides helpful instructions for using the contract. The Alliant Ordering Guide is not a substitute for an agency's internal ordering process and some agencies may have special requirements for issuing Information Technology Delivery Orders. It is the Issuing Agency's Ordering Contracting Officers' (OCOs) responsibility to be aware of any agency-specific policies regarding issuing orders via an existing contract vehicle and Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts.

The Alliant Ordering Guide is subject to change; so please check this site frequently for updates.

Note: Federal buyers who wish to use the Alliant GWAC must receive contract overview training prior to issuing task orders. Upon completion of the training, a written delegation of procurement authority will be issued to warranted contracting officers, whereupon they will become Ordering Contracting Officers.
