8(a) STARS II Solicitation Closed
The solicitation for the 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) closed on October 1, 2009. Received offers are currently under evaluation. The archived FedBizOpps notice QTA609MCA0010 can be accessed at www.fbo.gov.
Small Business GWAC Contract Holders can accept orders funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) 
The 8(a) STARS, VETS, COMMITS NexGen, and Alliant SB GWACs have issued contract modifications to update and incorporate the clauses on the contracts. A number of clauses were included as a result of the Recovery Act, which will equip the Small Business GWACs to better support Recovery Act work.

8(a) STARS GWAC Option Exercised GSA has exercised option two of the 8(a) STARS GWAC. Pursuant to the option, the 8(a) STARS GWAC industry partners were required to re-represent their size status. Contracting officers must review the 8(a) STARS Industry Partner section for more information.
