DFC Child Care Center

The Denver Federal Center (DFC) Child Care Center is a one-story building that was originally constructed in 1973. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Characteristics of the 9,810 square foot center include:

• Eight classrooms
• Two offices
• A staff lounge
• A full-service kitchen
• Two laundry facilities
• Three playgrounds
• Tile floor

Photo of a classroomThe center was recently remodeled to upgrade interior conditions. The remodel included the kitchen, flooring, acoustical work in the one of the classrooms, and the covered entrance into the infant wing.
