This course outlines and explains Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) guidelines for relocation allowances given to eligible civilian employees when they make a permanent change of duty station. Civilian employees are encouraged to take this training biannually or annually so that they have up-to-date information on federal travel allowances.
The course will cover:
- Travel Authorizations, Advances and Vouchers
- Service Agreements
- House Hunting and En Route Travel
- Temporary Quarters
- Shipment of Household Goods/Automobiles
- Property Management
- Real Estate Expenses
- Miscellaneous Expenses; and
- Last Move Home
Intended for: travel specialists, support staff, infrequent travelers, and affected authorizing, supervising and policy officials.
