Coming soon

Soon our IT commodity buying program will offer lower prices and easier ordering for federal, state, and local government organizations through five-year blanket purchase agreements (BPAs) off of IT Schedule 70. We expect over $1 billion in revenue for the six BPAs over the five years.

Initial offerings will include:

  • Data storage equipment
  • Computers
  • Monitors
  • Video teleconferencing equipment

We are also working towards medium-term and long-term buying programs with the goal of reducing prices in the government IT marketplace by leveraging bulk purchasing opportunities.

Lower prices and faster procurement

The IT commodity program streamlines your operations and reduces overall contracting costs by aggregating the government's demand for IT. By streamlining the modification process, new products can be added in as little as 24 to 48 hours.

The IT commodity program can take advantage of your reverse auction system to bid down the price of IT commodities. The blanket purchase agreements will also feature automatic tiered volume discounts, additional customer-negotiated discounts, and the ability for vendors to provide discounts on the spot.

Integrated support services such as maintenance and training

Additional support include maintenance, warranties, installation, integration, and product training.

Better reporting and transactional data to help you manage your IT spend

When you use the IT commodity program, you get quarterly usage reports and Level III data, as well as monthly performance metric reporting and customer surveys.

Secure, green products that help you meet mandates and directives

The IT commodity program aligns with point 6 of the 25-Point Implementation Plan to Reform Federal IT Management (PDF), which works to consolidate IT commodity spending under agency Chief Information Officers (CIOs).

The program also features Supply Chain Risk Management (genuine equipment and traceable supply chains) to secure your equipment.

The IT commodity program also meets the requirements of sustainable purchasing, such as eWaste credits and rebates and lifecycle management. Some products are Energy Star and EPEAT-certified.
