Research Into Practice Program

The Research Into Practice Program  delivers actionable, evidence-based practices to people who can improve building performance. It enables them to understand and adopt integrated solutions to achieve continuous high performance in buildings.

Why a Research Into Practice Program?
Existing research that could improve building performance does not reach those who can use it in a form that is useful to them.  The Research Into Practice Program identifies research that is useful and usable and translates it into a variety of content types for specific target audiences to move what we know to those who do.

The following pages serve as a repository for all content produced by the Research Into Practice Program.

Topics include:

  • Water
  • Energy
  • Indoor Environmental Quality and Lighting
  • Submetering
  • Performance-Based Contracting and others.

Content will also be dispersed through other established external channels to reach our audience of facility managers, financial decision makers, procurement personnel and technical experts who work with building operations.
