Spring Means Farm Fresh in Region 4!
Region 4 is the proud home of four unique farmers markets. GSA sponsors “midday markets” outside the Sam Nunn Federal Center and Peachtree Summit Federal Building in downtown Atlanta and the Internal Revenue Service Campus in Chamblee, GA. The newest GSA farmers’ market is at the Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville, KY.
Jackson Courthouse Receives Coveted Environmental Award
GSA Project Manager, Laura Shadix, accepted the coveted Region 4 Phoenix Award at the 15th National Brownfields Conference, sponsored by the U.S. EPA. The award recognizes exemplary brownfields redevelopment and revitalization efforts throughout the country.

Southeast Sunbelt Commemorates Memorial Day
The Southeast Sunbelt Region held a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor those who have bravely served our country. "Freedom is Not Free" was the theme of the program with special guest speaker, Captain Robert "Punchy" Powell, a 92-year-old Fighter Pilot who flew in WWII and Korea.
