Nomination Criteria

Nominations for Federal Aviation Awards may be submitted by an executive agency of the federal government that owned or hired aircraft during the period from January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2012, to perform their non-military missions.

The winning programs and professionals should demonstrate the most outstanding achievements that have occurred in the past 12 months (January 2012-December 2012). Include any external assessments your agency received last year, including other awards, ARMS, surveys, or other reports such as a Government Accountability Office (GAO) review.

The Interagency Committee for Aviation Policy sets different award criteria for Program Awards and Professional Awards. Agencies should carefully consider these criteria before submitting their nominations.
