GSA Awards Millennia Lite Information Technology Support Services Contracts

Washington, DC--The U. S. General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service (FTS) today announced the award of the first and second in a series of four major information technology support services contracts under the Millennia Lite program. Eleven multiple award indefinite quantity contracts were awarded for high-end information technology services and 10 for mission support services. The maximum dollar value for all contracts awarded under Millennia Lite is $20 billion.
"The Millennia Lite contracts will provide GSA's customers with greater choice of solutions and institute partnerships with many more industry partners," said FTS Commissioner Sandy Bates.
The 11 high-end information services contracts were awarded to:
American Systems Corporation
Computer Technology Associates, Inc.
GRC International, Inc.
New Technology Management, Inc.
QSS Group, Inc.
Systems Technology Associates, Inc.
Anticipated services under high-end information technology services functional area include: high-end scientific and engineering efforts in areas such as computer assisted design, engineering and manufacturing; independent verification and validation; economic/business case analysis; environmental control; instrumentation; reliability and maintainability; reverse engineering; simulation and modeling; source data development; and statistical analysis.
The 10 mission support services contracts were awarded to:
ACS Government Solutions Group
Advanced Technology Systems, Inc.
Computer Systems Technology
FC Business Systems
Rose International, Inc.
Anticipated services under the Mission Support Services function area include software development and maintenance; facilities management and operations; network design and support; management, administration, operation and maintenance of computer systems; data entry, storage & retrieval; support of specialized workstations; computer installation, integration and maintenance; information center/help desk; computer graphics support; and electronic records management.
Each of the multiple award indefinite quantity contracts has a base period of three years, plus award term options to extend services up to a total of 10 years. Orders under the contracts may be fixed-price, cost reimbursement, time and materials or labor hour. These contracts are available for use by all Federal agencies worldwide.
Millennia Lite is comprised of four functional areas, each of which is being awarded separately. The four areas are: information technology planning, studies and assessment; high-end information technology services; mission support services; and legacy systems migration and new enterprise systems development.

The contracts were awarded by the GSA's Federal Technology Service, Information Technology Acquisition Center (ITAC) co-located in Fort Worth, TX and Atlanta, GA.
