Iowa Field Office
The Iowa Service Center operates six federally-owned buildings with 1.1 million square feet of space, covering 14 acres of land along with 610 indoor and outdoor parking spaces valued at $204 million.
The Service Center supports 45 agencies and more than 1,400 federal employees. Iowa also manages 73 leased spaces throughout the state with an annual rent bill of $15 million and includes almost 500,000 square feet of office space, housing 1,180 tenants.
Owned buildings include the Neal Smith Federal Building, Des Moines Courthouse, Iowa City Federal Building/Post Office, Sioux City Courthouse, Cedar Rapids Courthouse, and the Davenport Courthouse. Davenport and the Des Moines Courthouse properties are both on the National Historic Preservation Listing.
