Total Workplace National Initiative

The Total Workplace National Initiative offers the federal community expertise and resources to improve the utilization of space, people and technology.  This service offers solutions customized to the various workplace needs of federal agencies seeking to reduce their real estate costs and increase their workplace effectiveness.  To find out more, follow this link to The Total Workplace National Initiative  For further information please contact

Space Planning and Furniture

GSA space planners design space to meet agencies needs and goals.  GSA determines space efficiency of the building and generates design intent drawings (DID) which illustrate demolition, finishes, and electrical layouts.  For further information please see the contact information provided on the upper right side of this web page.

FIT (Furniture IT) Program

A national funding initiative that integrates FAS and PBS resources into a new GSA service offering to help other federal agencies use their workspace more efficiency and effectively. GSA procures furniture and / or IT through GSA FAS for client agency. Client agency pays GSA a FIT through a 3 years for IT and 5 years for furniture through FIT OA amortized over the terms.
