DFC Child Care Center

Photo of a classroomThe Denver Federal Center (DFC) Child Care Center is a one-story building that was originally constructed in 1973. The program at Clever Kids Learning Center is currently accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and has met their national quality standards since 1995. The quality program and the longevity of staff members are the outstanding features of the program.

The child care center has been operated by Clever Kids Learning Center since November 1992 at this location. The center is also open to the general public although Federal agency employees receive a discounted rate for tuition. Federal agency employees may inquire into obtaining child care services from the DFC Child Care Center by contacting the director, Deborah Wolf at (303) 236-9400.

Characteristics of the 9,810 square foot center include:

  • Eight classrooms
  • Two offices
  • A staff lounge
  • A full-service kitchen
  • Two laundry facilities
  • Three separate, age-appropriate playgrounds
  • Mostly tile floor with some carpeted areas
