Eleven GSA Employees Receive FCW's Federal 100 Awards

Federal Computer Week announced the winners of its “Federal 100” awards for 2007 and 10 were recognized for their achievements with GSA.

The “Federal 100” recognizes individuals from government, industry, and academia that significantly influenced how the federal government buys, uses, or manages information technology. “Federal 100” winners are recognized for their risk-taking, vision, and pioneering spirit in the federal IT community.

The winners are nominated by Federal Computer Week readers and selected by an independent panel of judges for their contributions to the development, acquisition or management of federal IT.

  • Mary A. Davie, Assistant Commissioner for Assisted Acquisition Services, FAS
  • James Ghiloni, Acting Director for Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts, Office of Integrated Technology Services, FAS
  • Michel L. Kareis, Program Manager for GSA HSPD-12 Managed Services, Office of Integrated Technology Services, FAS
  • Deborah M. McCray, Contract Specialist in the Center for IT Schedule Program, Office of Integrated Technology Services, FAS
  • Teresa Nasif, Director, Federal Citizen Information Center, Office of Citizen Services and Communications
  • Mary Parks, Director of the Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts Center, Heartland Region, FAS
  • John Sindelar, former Deputy Associate Administrator for Governmentwide
  • G. Martin (Marty) Wagner, former Deputy Commissioner, FAS
  • Additionally, Michael S. Sade, Assistant Commissioner, Office of Acquisition Management, FAS was recognized for his accomplishments while at the Department of Commerce.
