GSA announced award of its Networx Enterprise contracts to AT&T Corp; Level 3 Communications, LLC; MCI Communications Services, Inc.; Qwest Government Services, Inc. and Sprint Solutions, Inc.  This completes the highly anticipated award process for the largest federal telecommunications program ever competed.

Combined with the March 2007 award of the Networx Universal contracts to AT&T Corp, MCI Communications Services, Inc. (doing business as Verizon Business Services), and Qwest Government Services, Inc., GSA provides customers with worldwide continuity of vital mission critical services that underlie federal government operations.

By leveraging the government’s telecommunications services buying power, GSA uses the entire Networx program to provide GSA customers with leading edge technology at the best prices in the marketplace. The entire Networx program is valued at an estimated $20 billion over the 10-year life of the Universal and Enterprise contracts.
