GSA's dedication towards preserving the environment is demonstrated in the Denver Federal Center. The DFC has had a positive impact to the Lakewood, Colo., community by:

  • Revitalizing the community with expanded employment;
  • Encouraging and providing expanded/new access to public transportation;
  • Demonstrating GSA’s dedication towards preserving our environment.

 The "Denver Federal Center, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" video tells the story of a cattle ranch turned ammunition plant turned thriving federal office complex. For the first time in its history, 65 acres of federal land were sold in order to reinvest it back into the infrastructure of a unique one square mile federal campus in Colorado that currently supports more than 6,000 tenants in more than 45 active buildings.
