Happy 1st Birthday, GovGab!
GovGab, the virtual street corner unveiled a year ago by the U.S. General Services Administration, has achieved its goal: Citizens are using the government blog to gab about official information and services, to swap stories, and to share experiences on everything from eye surgery to biking, and from oil prices to National Whole Grains Month.
Available at GovGab.gov, the site draws on the resources in OCSC's family of websites: USA.gov, the official Web portal of the U.S. government; Pueblo.gsa.gov and ConsumerAction.gov, the federal site that helps with consumer problems.
Some 57 million Americans are active throughout the blogosphere. Why not sign on and share your own experience?
