GSALodging®

GSA has partnered with the lodging industry to provide federal travelers with Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) compliant accommodations within per diem allowance for selected high-volume travel destinations, both within and outside the Continental United States.

GSALodging® includes the following offerings:

FedRooms® provides federal travelers on official business with FTR compliant hotel rooms for transient and extended stay (up to 29 days). FedRooms® is an innovative governmentwide program that puts government travelers in FEMA and ADA-compliant rooms at or below per diem rates with flexible terms, right where they need to be.

Go to FedRooms® (a nongovernment website) for more information and a current list of hotels. The GSA website also provides a list of preferred hotels [EXCEL, 5.92 MB] on a monthly basis. FedRooms® rates are available through all of the government's preferred booking channels; E2 Solutions, FedTraveler, GovTrip and the Defense Travel System.

FedRooms® now offers a market research tool for those planning a meeting. FedRooms® Groups and Meetings is free and simple to use.  Link to the informational sheet [PDF, 369K] for additional details on this tool.

Long Term Lodging, under the Transportation, Delivery and Relocation Solutions Schedule 48 is designed for lodging needs of 30 days or more. This program provides accommodations for temporary or permanent employee relocation or extended training in properties that include apartment buildings and condominiums, which are furnished with the amenities and comforts of home.

Specialized Conference Facilities and related services, SIN 599-6, is a new offering under GSA’s Travel Services Solutions (TSS) Schedule.  An awarded conference facility may include but not be limited to: guest rooms, dedicated conference space, food and beverage services, conference technology services, telephone and Internet services, full service business center and security services.  The SIN was established just for conference centers that provide a complete meeting package (CMP) which enables a government meeting professional an all inclusive daily price to better manage an off-site planning retreat, training program or executive level meeting.  This GSA Lodging Program offering is not intended for standard hotels that fulfill conference and meeting needs.
