Center for Policy Evaluation
The Center for Policy Evaluation determines the effectiveness of governmentwide regulations for travel, transportation, and asset management. The center evaluates how agencies adhere to regulations, assesses measures for improving the regulatory process and impediments to compliance, and seeks best practices and tools.
Federal Advisory Committee Act Management
The Committee Management Secretariat ensures that advice by the advisory committees is objective and accessible to the public. It provides brochures, training, advice and guidance, consultations, and an annual review process of advisory committees.
Federal Regulation Policy As one of the central management agencies of the federal government, GSA carries out the policy and regulatory functions assigned by Congress. GSA collaborates with customer agencies and stakeholders to develop policies for implementing federal laws, executive orders and other executive branch guidance, and provides a flexible and effective governmentwide policy framework.
Policy Awards
GSA offers awards to federal executive agency teams and individual employees to recognize contributions toward improving management practices and promote effective policy implementation within a broad range of program areas.
Govermentwide Reports The Office of Governmentwide Policy provides tools for federal agencies to fulfill its responsibilities under the Federal Property Administrative Support Act and the Federal Records Act to collect semiannual or annual data required by various statutes or policies.
