Training Resources for Vendors
If you're a vendor who want to sell your products and services to the federal government, GSA offers many types of training to help you. You can find training workshops, meetings, conferences, and seminars at locations across the country and on the web.
How to get on schedule: This GSA.gov page reviews the resources available to a contractor ready to pursue a Multiple Award Schedule.
Two Web-based training centers offer a variety of free resources and self-study training if you're interested in getting a contract with the government. Both require a simple registration process.
- Center for Acquisition Excellence: Online training and resources regarding GSA acquisition vehicles and policies, designed for both vendors and customer agencies. Learning modules include green purchasing, solutions for state and local government, and basic contracting for GSA/FAS Schedules Program.
- Vendor Support Center: Use this online resource to get up-to-date information, review and report sales, and download vendor guides that help you stay competitive.
To better help current GSA Schedule contract holders market themselves to the federal government, we created a group within GSA's Interact community called "Schedules Contractor Success-Marketing Matters!"Companies considering the GSA Schedules Program will benefit by joining this group and getting timely and relevant tips and training. For Small Businesses
The Office of Small Business Utilization at GSA offers an extensive list of on-site and Web-based training to help small businesses succeed with government sales. These include:

GSA's Center for IT Schedule Programs offers a training seminar for IT vendors wishing to sell to the government. Refer to the Industry Partner Training page for a description of available training. For specific dates, refer to the IT Schedule 70 calendar of events.
