IT Records Management

Records Management is the professional practice of managing the records of an organization throughout their life cycle, from the time they are created to their eventual disposal.  The process includes planning, controlling, directing, organizing, training, and other managerial activities. GSA is held accountable to and reports annually to the National Archives and Records Management Administration (NARA) on our records management activities and progress towards a successful program.
