Earn 2 CLPs by attending free training
Date: February 13, 2014
Continuous Learning Points (CLPs): 2
* Please note both sessions will cover the same material. Register and attend the session of your choice.
Today's the day to register for this unique training event! In the two hour session, you will gain in-depth, practical knowledge about the appropriate ways to dispose of federal personal property. There's no charge for the class, and you can earn two Continuous Learning Points (CLPs)!
All aspects of the federal property disposal process focus on reuse, which is a form of recycling. By attending, you'll discover the avenues through which government assets can stay out of landfills and remain in use, including:
GSAXcess®, the eTool for transferring property between agencies,
The Computers for Learning program, which routes surplus computers and related equipment to schools, and
GSA Auctions®, which sells federal surplus property to the public.
Join us to learn how your agency can maximize taxpayers' investment in federal property - and help to green our nation - through reuse. The statutory and regulatory authorities will provide the background for this presentation.
Seating is limited and this training won't be available online, so register today!
