New Solutions (SSAC)

This information was developed to help potential vendors understand the process for getting a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract with the Southwest Supply and Acquisition Center (SSAC). The documents provide background information on GSA's buying program, the GSAC MAS is an easy to follow, step-by-step procedure in applying for a GSA contract.

SSAC covers the following programs:

  • Schedule 56—Buildings and Building Materials/Industrial Services and Supplies
  • Schedule 66—Scientific Equipment and Services
  • Schedule 73—Food Service, Hospitality, Cleaning Equipment and Supplies, Chemicals, and Services
  • Schedule 84—Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facilities Management, Fire Rescue, Clothing, Marine Craft and Emergency/Disaster Response

To view the products and services under each Schedule, please visit GSA eLibrary which includes a complete listing of offerings on these Multiple Award Schedules. The link for the solicitation is at the top of those pages. Current solicitations can also be viewed on FedBizOpps.

Vendors applying for the above Schedules are required to complete Pathway to Success, an education seminar designed to assist prospective Schedule contractors in making an informed business decision as to whether obtaining a GSA Schedule contract is in their best interests. The Pathways to Success is located under the Education Tab, on the Vendor Support Center (VSC) website. The VSC is the national clearing house for information directly associated with a MAS contract.
