GSA Mid-Atlantic Region saves City of Richmond upwards of $100,000
GSA Mid-Atlantic Personal Property Management Division recently completed a State Agency for Surplus Property Review for the state of Virginia's program. The review showed that the City of Richmond used the program to furnish their office buildings, saving them upwards of $100,000. Greenbuild Conference to include Presentation by Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Sara Manzano-Diaz and Tour of Historic U.S. Custom House in Philadelphia
The 2013 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, scheduled November 20-22 in Philadelphia, featured a presentation by Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Sara Manzano-Diaz, along with a tour of the recently renovated historic U.S. Custom House. Greenbuild is the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to green building and brings together industry leaders, experts and frontline professionals in the field of sustainable building design. Recent energy upgrades at the U.S. Custom House, which is certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings, or LEED-EBOM, included a green roof installation, energy efficient light fixtures, and high efficiency boilers.
