Mine, Safety Health Administration (MSHA)- nationwide consolidation of services

Mine Safety Health Administration came to GSA to consolidate approximately 100 nationwide telecommunications locations and billings to GSA managed Accounts. Over a 16 month period, the GSA Region 3 Project Manager worked with 10 GSA Regions to consolidate 100 MSHA locations with telecom services into a single GSA national account and single TOPS EBIll (IPAC).

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

In 2012 GSA began work with the Federal Aviation Administration to transition their local telecommunications services to GSA contracts. This project consisted of project management, acquisition, and implementation of telecom services for services in 50 states. GSA provides FAA a single point for service ordering, as well as consolidated billing, inventory management, and a Helpdesk for trouble ticketing and resolution.

Distributed Antenna System under WITS 3 Contract

The NCR team under the WITS 3 Contract worked with the U. S. Naval Academy (USNA) to install a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) provided by Verizon. In March 2016 Phase 1 was completed where DAS was deployed in areas of poor wireless coverage by using antenna nodes as repeaters. It includes the design and construction of "head end" locations containing all DAS common equipment that in addition to the carrier specific equipment includes cable and wiring , antenna installation and the linking of antennas and controllers. 330 antennas, 6.6 miles of coax and 1.5 miles of fiber were installed to successfully complete Phase 1.
