The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is consolidating its headquarters in the National Capital Region (NCR). This secure campus will bring together executive leadership, operational management, and staff in an effort to improve communication and coordination, as well as save government resources.

St. Elizabeth, a National Historic Landmark, was identified as the best GSA-controlled site in the District of Columbia (DC) to meet DHS’s requirement of approximately 4.5 million square feet of office and related space plus parking.

GSA will repair and upgrade the existing infrastructure on a phased basis, while developing the campus.
