Constructed in 1960, the four-story federal building located in downtown Bemidji, Minnesota, is within a block of the Beltrami County Judicial Building, Bemidji Fire Station, Bemidji Post Office, and the County Administration Building. GSA acquired the building in 1974 through a transfer from the U.S. Post Office.

The building houses the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' Indian Health Service. In the most recent (2012) GSA Tenant Satisfaction Survey, 50% of tenants indicated they were more than satisfied (four or five on a five-point scale) with the building and GSA services.
