The Social Security Administration (SSA) Building in Austin, Minn., is located in the city's central business district at the intersection of Second Street and Fourth Avenue. 

SSA is the sole tenant of the building. The 2012 GSA Tenant Satisfaction Survey produced a 73% more than satisfied rating (four or five on a five-point scale) for the building and GSA services.

Parking and Public Transportation A parking lot for tenants and customers is located south of the building, and municipal parking is located to the east. County bus service via Austin-Mower County Area Transit is also available.

History and Architectural Features The Austin SSA Building is a one-story, 5,500-square-foot structure constructed in 1969. The building's space doubled in 1979 with construction of an addition. The exterior is concrete block with a decorative brick façade and a flat roof.
