Tenant Updates

October 4, 2016

The repaving project at 2800 Cottage Way is progressing quickly. Due to unforeseen conditions beneath the surface of the parking lot, the scheduled completion date is being pushed out by an additional 10 days. We appreciate your continued patience during this temporary project and hope to have the parking lot paving completed by November 21, 2016. At that time, we hope to have the parking lot open at 80 percent. We will begin solar canopy installation at the end of November at a rate of 2 rows per phase, with targeted completion in early 2017.

As a reminder, alternative parking options are available for employees for the duration of the project. GSA has leased space at CAL EXPO off of Exposition Blvd and at the Country Club Plaza located at 2310 Watt Ave for Government Owned Vehicles (GOVs) and Privately Owned Vehicles (POVs) to accommodate the temporary loss of parking at 2800 Cottage Way. Please continue to be good neighbors by utilizing these alternative parking locations during this temporary project. If parking near the building, do not block driveways or fire hydrants in the surrounding neighborhoods and be mindful of homeowners who also need to park. Please leave our neighbors extra space on Fridays to accommodate garbage pick up.

Building Tenants should contact Brandon Miller, GSA Building Manager, at bmiller@gsa.gov or 916-978-5665 for questions regarding this project.

All other inquires should be directed to GSA’s Regional Public Affairs Office, Jessica Glavin, Communications Specialist by email at jessica.glavin@gsa.gov.
