Office of Strategic Programs

The Office of Strategic Programs (OSP) centralizes oversight of strategic government-wide information technology (IT) programs. It is responsible for responding to Executive Orders, OMB Directives, and federal agencies' customer needs. In its role, it nurtures and develops new IT products, services, and solutions. The office defines optimum solutions, including acquisition vehicles and managed services, to best meet agencies' needs to obtain best value and cost effectiveness.

The director of the Office of Strategic Programs reports directly to the Assistant Commissioner, Office of Integrated Technology Services. This office oversees the following areas:

The Office of Strategic Programs is tasked with searching for forward-looking ways in government to incorporate new technology for greater efficiencies, such as providing cloud services and technologies into contracts agencies can access. OSP provides government with access to technology that focuses on cost savings and mission performance.
