Built in 1966, the Federal Building at 650 Missouri Avenue is adjacent to the Melvin Price U.S. Courthouse and located in the central business district of East St. Louis, Illinois. The building, primarily used for court-related agencies and the Social Security Administration (SSA), features a penthouse and flat roof.

Key Tenants Major tenants include U.S. Probation, Public Defender, and the Social Security Administration. Other tenants include the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Trustees. In the latest (2015) GSA Tenant Satisfaction Survey, 56% of respondents gave a more than satisfied rating (four or five on a five-point scale) for the building and GSA services.
