For Earth Week 2013, GSA is spotlighting employees helping to make a more sustainable government.
Kathryn Weissman, a project management specialist in GSA’s Public Buildings Service in Chicago, talks about GSA’s participation in the Federal Green Challenge. The program is a nationwide initiative led by EPA to reduce federal agency’s environmental impact. The challenge asks federal facilities to reduce their impact in six categories: waste, electronics, purchasing, energy, water, and transportation.
