GSA Reaffirms Commitment to Design Excellence
The GSA Design and Construction Awards Program is honoring design, art, and construction professionals who have helped elevate the quality of federal buildings nationwide. Entries in the categories of architecture, art, conservation, construction, communication design, interior design, landscaping preservation, and urban design and planning, will be accepted until Sept. 22.
Since its inception in 1994, the Design Excellence Program has ensured the construction of high quality federal civilian buildings nationwide. The design awards have commended finalists for their contributions to safer workstations, well-lit buildings, greener buildings, and cost-efficient innovations.
Every two years, candidates of the design awards introduce higher standards of space configuration, public engagement, and employee satisfaction that help modify the outlook of design and architecture for the future.
