Federal Triangle South: Value, Efficiency, Innovation, Sustainability

GSA issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking developers who can provide construction and development services in exchange for the GSA Regional Office Building and Cotton Annex, both located in Southwest Washington, DC. These services would be used to help GSA consolidate about 1,500 regional staff from the Regional Office Building into the GSA headquarters located at 1800 F St., NW and renovate up to three historic buildings at St. Elizabeths campus in Southeast Washington.

About the RFQ

GSA’s action supports federal space consolidation efforts for GSA and DHS in Washington, DC.  Implementation of this project would reduce expenses related to maintenance of under-performing federal property and improve the use of existing federal facilities, thereby delivering value and cost savings to the American taxpayer.

The RFQ is now posted on Fed Biz Opps.

Responses to the April 7, 2014 RFQ have been reviewed and GSA will be moving forward with the Request for Proposals in Spring 2015.
