Tasty, Local, Fresh Options Available In Your Neighborhood
Only weekday farmers market kicks off June 12
DENVER – The U.S. General Services Administration celebrates its fifth season of having the only weekday farmers market in Lakewood, Colo. at the Denver Federal Center’s Bicentennial Park. The market will be open rain or shine starting every Thursday, June 12 - August 28 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The market features easy access for the public, amenities such as free parking, shade, landscaping, open-air pavilions, bike racks and picnic benches.
“GSA organized a farmers market to create a community that promotes healthy living and eating while supporting local businesses,” said Susan Damour, GSA Regional Administrator. “We’d rather bring campus tenants and neighbors together to enjoy the outdoors buying local instead of rolling a cart down a grocery store aisle.”
Key products shoppers will find featured this year will be a variety food trucks with tasty lunch options, farm fresh produce, baked goods, fresh cut flowers and more. For a list of 2014 vendors, please go to our farmers market webpage. Come and experience access to affordable local products where you can talk directly with growers who can answer your questions.

Visitors are welcome and can access the market at Gate 1, located at 6th and Kipling, and Gate 4, located at Union and 4th Avenue, or Gate 5 located at Union Blvd and 2nd Street.
