Reginald Cardozo — Deputy Chief of Staff

Reginald Cardozo is the Deputy Chief of Staff of the U.S. General Services Administration.

In this position, Reginald Cardozo works closely with leadership throughout the agency to further our mission in delivering quality services and supporting our partners in the federal government and communities across this country.  Cardozo joined GSA as White House Liaison in July of 2013, where he helped manage GSA’s relationship for the White House and other federal agencies.

Prior to joining GSA, Cardozo was the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Governor of Puerto Rico. Cardozo was tasked with establishing a relationship between a new Puerto Rican  administration and the federal government. He was also responsible for working with the White House, federal agencies, and Congress to ensure that the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico had the support and resources it needed.

Before that, he was the Political Director for President Barack Obama’s Presidential Campaign in Florida from 2011 until 2012. In this capacity, he was comprehensively involved in statewide strategic decisions and the allocation of resources and staff throughout the state of Florida. Reginald has also worked as the Director of Governmental Relations for Governance, Inc. in Tallahassee Florida, where he was responsible for the coordination of advocacy for local government municipalities/counties, and quasi-governmental agencies.

Reginald attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA and Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.
