GSA provides a multitude of programs to help federal agencies select the most appropriate contracting vehicles. GSA schedules, governmentwide acquisition contracts (GWACs), and GSA Global Supply provide a wide array of choices. That is why GSA’s Office of Acquisition Management offers extensive training, including classroom instruction, live monthly webinars, videos, and online training through the Defense Acquisition University.
Training provides critical support for the acquisition workforce throughout the government and is required and mandated for the proper execution of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). It prepares federal employees to effectively use the Schedules program to meet those requirements. Using the training tools offered by GSA, federal agencies are able to to enhance competition, achieve small business utilization goals, and procure sustainable acquisitions.
