GSA Regional Administrator Participates in Centennial Event

On Sunday, May 3, Regional Administrator Sylvia Hernandez participated in the John Minor Wisdom U.S. Court of Appeals Building's Centennial Celebration in New Orleans, LA.  She shared the stage with the Honorable Carl E. Stewart, Professor Richard Campanella from Tulane University, James G. Rogers, III, Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Dr. Louvinia E. Wallace, McDonogh 35 Class of 1966 and Thomas M. Susman from the American Bar Association.  Each provided remarks regarding the building's rich history.  RA Hernandez  also spoke about the building's upcoming National Historic Landmark designation that was received in July 2015.

Fifth Circuit Court Judges and the Honorable Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Antonin Scalia were among many esteemed guests that joined the celebration.  Following the panel presentation, the 600 plus guests were invited into the building for tours.
