GSA Technology Operations

June 2013

I am pleased to announce that the task order for GSA’s Technology Operations (GTO) has been awarded to AAC Inc., a veteran-owned business and contract holder on GSA’s Alliant Small Business GWAC.

GTO, the new contract, replaces the GSA IT Global Operations contract (GITGO).  GITGO successfully combined over 40 separate contracts into one and provided significant cost savings.

GSA’s estimated 17,000 employees and contractors worldwide will now be supported by GTO - to include service desk operations, support for computer equipment such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and servers. GTO will also support GSA's network infrastructure and remote technologies.

This acquisition began almost two years ago when GSA released an RFI on FedBizOpps - GSA Technology Operations – Industry Engagement Request for Information (RFI) - on April 7, 2011. The GTO task order, GS-H-00-13-AA-0041, is worth an estimated $237 million, and includes a number of optional services. The task order is performance-based for a term of five years, with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.

Thank you,
Casey Coleman
