Guest Blog Posts Will Reach Public With Program Message at No Cost

WASHINGTON, June 8, 2011 – If you are looking for a free way to show the public how to benefit from your agency’s programs and services, and give your management metrics on how effective social media can be in getting out your important message, the USA.gov blog can help.
Your posting can even include photos or videos.
The USA.gov blog highlights important government news and events, and can be used to explain your program and your programs impact. The blog also provides tips, news alerts and updates, written in plain language.
Federal Web staff, and managers and program managers can submit posts to USA.gov blog. Send your blog post ideas to jessica.milcetich@ gsa.gov; a Word document is fine. Include the date you would want the item to be posted. After it goes live, your blog post will be sent to our 3,000 subscribers. You can even find out the number of reposts, the number of “likes” and the number of comments on your post.
