Property Disposal One-Day Workshop - Buffalo, NY - July 28, 2016

Learn all the basics of the property disposal program!

GSA will be hosting a Property Disposal One-Day Workshop in Buffalo, New York. This free one day workshop is hosted by GSA's Region 2 Personal Property Management Program and is intended for both newcomers to the field and seasoned professionals seeking updates on the disposal process. Accountable Property Officers, Property Custodians and other personnel interested in learning the excess personal property disposal process are welcome to attend. 

The class is scheduled for Thursday, July 28th, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Training topics include: 
Basics of Property Disposal 
Computers for Learning Overview 
Abandonment and Destruction of Personal Property 
eScrap Recycling
Reporting Excess Personal Property / Uploading Multiple ICN pictures 
Acquiring Excess Personal Property 
Sale of Personal Property 

The training session will be held at 130 South Elmwood Avenue, Suite 400, Buffalo, NY 14202. 

The facility requires a federal government ID, driver's license or state ID. Everyone entering the federal facility will be required to go through a metal detector and security checkpoint. Please allow extra time for the security process. The facility is handicapped accessible. For special requirements, please notify the event point of contact listed below. Participants will receive 8 CLPs. Attendance is limited to 35 people. Registration is required for the workshop.
