The Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) Center manages a diversified portfolio of 8(a), Small, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVO) set-aside contracts for information technology solutions.
These contracts are pre-competed, multiple award contracts with high-quality, small business industry partners. These small business firms specialize in providing innovative, information technology solutions to federal agencies worldwide.
Federal agencies may access these unique contract vehicles through a delegation of procurement authority granted by the Small Business GWAC Center. Delegations are simple to obtain and may be granted after completing a brief training session on proper ordering procedures. The Small Business GWAC Center manages four major small business set-aside contract vehicles - the 8(a) STARS, COMMITS NexGen and VETS GWACs. In addition, efforts are underway to award a new GWAC - the Alliant Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contract.
