The Wait is Over… GSA Awards OASIS Contracts to 74 Businesses

May 19, 2014

Procuring Complex Integrated Professional Services Just Got Easier and Faster

WASHINGTON -- Today the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) awarded 74 companies contracts for its One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) solution that will provide federal agencies with best-value services for complex professional service requirements. OASIS is part of a family of contracts along with OASIS Small Business (SB), a 100-percent small business set-aside contract.

OASIS, which contains a very high small-business subcontracting goal, was developed in response to the government’s substantial need for a hybrid, government-wide acquisition vehicle that provides a streamlined solution for both commercial and non-commercial requirements for professional services. OASIS is designed to reduce duplication of contracting efforts across the government and provide federal agencies with comprehensive, integrated contract options. OASIS will also drive down costs for federal agencies, and increase efficiency by reducing the time spent on developing complex contracts.

FAS Commissioner Tom Sharpe Said:

“OASIS and OASIS SB are the result of a two-year acquisition development process that involved not only the hard work and expertise of GSA’s OASIS team, but also the input of our industry partners. We know that our customers have been looking forward to these final awards, and it is clear that OASIS is already the solution of choice for many government agencies including the U.S. Air Force, which recently committed to using OASIS SB for all it’s professional services procurements.”

OASIS will provide a much needed government- wide solution for complex integrated solutions, similar to the Alliant solution for IT requirements, but will offer even more capabilities and flexibilities.

OASIS will compliment GSA’s Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) program and provide agencies with more flexible full-service options. Notable features and benefits of OASIS include:

  • Government-wide use
  • Access to best in class solution providers
  • On-ramp/off-ramp procedures to ensure a flexible, vibrant vendor pool
  • Integrated support for key government initiatives
