FY 2023 FAS Industry Satisfaction Survey (ISS)

As our industry partner, you are a critical part of our acquisition infrastructure. To gauge our performance, we use a Industry Satisfaction Survey designed to improve our services and offerings.

Last year, our agency received the highest scores to-date from industry for overall satisfaction in working with GSA. We also received higher scores in every measurable category. Our highest scores were for contracting expertise and industry expertise.

However, we also received feedback about opportunities for improvement. Our analysis indicates you are frustrated with GSA’s internal processes and navigating the GSA systems and technology.

p>In response to that feedback, the Office of Professional Services and Human Capital (PSHC) produced a three-part New Vendor Series introducing new industry partners to the professional services and human capital acquisition process. Find this series, along with 83 additional PSHC educational and informative videos, on the PSHC playlist. We also:

• Added a new "Interested" feature in eBuy! to allow contractors to notify a customer they’re interested in a Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Quote (RFQ). It also helps them easily filter and identify quotes they have not submitted.
• Relaunched GSA’s Interact on buy.gsa.gov to help industry and government securely communicate and build successful partnerships.
• In December 2022, the Office of Policy and Compliance (OPC) hosted a webinar for approximately 550 industry participants on current and emerging policies impacting federal contractors. OPC also outlined how industry can participate in the policy-making and implementation process, provided an overview of climate related initiatives and resources, and shared an overview of cybersecurity and secure software initiatives.
