Office Supplies Center

The Office Supplies Center is comprised of the Supply Operations Section and the Commodity Support Branch.

The Supply Operation Section is committed to supporting a large customer base comprised of both military and federal civilian agencies ensuring customer agencies receive quality office supplies and paper from GSA’s vendor partners. It is the point of contact for the processing of all customer requisitions and provides status updates and shipping guidance to vendors for overseas shipments.

Within the Supply Operations section there are three sub-sections:

  • Requisition Processing - Responsible for processing customer requisitions and verifies data such as stock number, part number, and other technical data. Expedites all high requisitions for customers deployed overseas;
  • Customer Service - Monitors, reviews, and responds to all inquiries from customers and vendors. Keeps track of purchase order status; and
  • Transportation - Processes air clearance, seavan requests, and provides shipping guidance for overseas shipments.

Commodity Support Branch provides specifications for products and ensures GSA Global Supply™ accurately reflects the products being offered. This branch is also responsible for evaluating supply methods and environmental issues.
