Overview

The Office of Systems Management (OSM) is comprised of two programs, the Integrated Award Environment and the Common Acquisition Platform. Both programs serve in product management roles in driving systems modernization of the U.S. federal government's buying and selling processes.

Common Acquisition Platform

The Common Acquisition Platform (CAP) program is leading or contributing to a number of efforts aimed at transforming acquisition processes and systems. These efforts include a set of digital and shared services that will drive the federal government in the direction of acting as one acquisition community equipped with more informative, innovative and cost-effective acquisition systems, tools and shared services.

Integrated Award Environment

The Integrated Award Environment is a Presidential E-Government initiative managed by GSA. We use innovative processes and technologies to improve systems and operations for those who award, administer, or receive federal financial assistance (i.e.; grants, loans), contracts, and intergovernmental transactions.

Our vision is to continue to evolve and integrate the existing shared portfolio of ten electronic systems used for awarding and administering federal financial assistance and contracts.
